Project Manager – ITPI

The Israel Tech Policy Institute (ITPI) is a non-profit organization that serves as a catalyst for tech policy leadership and scholarship, advancing principled practices in support of ethical use of emerging technologies. We are an affiliate of the Future of Privacy Forum. Our projects include research, policy papers, multi stakeholder engagements, public events on topics such as health data research, AI ethics, connected cars, algorithmic decision making, privacy technologies, internet content integrity and cybersecurity.

ITPI is seeking to hire a full time Project Manager to manage and coordinate programs and designs programs that align with the organization’s mission and support the organization’s goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and responsible for the logistics of multi stakeholder and international events that the organization holds, alone or co-hosted with partners
  • Co-ordinates the managing director’s and policy counsel’s participation in community events
  • Manages ITPI event planning accounts, including Eventbrite and MailChimp
  • Manages ITPI new website project and maintenance
  • Responsible for content delivered on ITPI social channels
  • Reports to the Managing Director
  • Manages the Privacy Tech Alliance establishment plan
  • Responsible for office logistics
  • Ensures that project milestones and goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Native or Excellent English speaker
  • Superior organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Mail Chimp and Eventbrite or similar
  • Experience preferable with Salesforce and Word Press
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure with competing priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively present varied information and respond to specific questions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior executives and government officials
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude
