FPF Training Program:
Beyond the Basics of Online Advertising

June 22

Overview

The Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) is a global non-profit organization that brings together industry, academics, civil society, policymakers, and other stakeholders to explore the challenges posed by technological innovations while exploring privacy protections, ethical norms, and workable business practices.

FPF’s Training Program provides an in-depth understanding of today’s most pressing privacy and data protection topics. FPF staff experts design the sessions for professionals who develop policies for their organizations, work with clients on complex privacy issues, or those interested in emerging privacy topics.

Going beyond the fundamentals of online advertising, this session provides an in-depth examination of the online advertising ecosystem focusing on a variety of topics, including mobile platforms, consent frameworks, analytics, and the technologies behind them. We will also explore the challenges affecting the future of online advertising, including deprecation of third-party cookies, platform requirements related to tracking, and key laws and regulations shaping the ad tech sector, as well as technologies developed to address user and legal requirements globally.

After completing each training course, you will receive a digital badge from Credly that can be shared on your professional network as a mark of the skills you’ve acquired.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be honored, minus our vendor’s processing fee, up to 3 days prior to the session. For cancellations after that date, we will honor the registration for the next scheduled date of this session or an alternate FPF training class.
