FPF Training Program:
Master the Digital Landscape: Strategies for Advanced Online Advertising

July 17, 2024 @ 12:30pm - 2:30pm ET

Overview

FPF’s Training Program provides an in-depth understanding of today’s most pressing privacy and data protection topics. FPF staff experts design the sessions for professionals who develop policies for their organizations, work with clients on complex privacy issues, or those interested in emerging privacy topics.

FPF is pleased to offer a new training session, Mastering the Digital Landscape: Strategies for Advanced Online Advertising. In this advanced course, we dive into key issues surrounding Digital Advertising as it impacts the world of privacy practitioners and their key stakeholders. Building on FPF’s Fundamentals of Online Advertising and Beyond the Basics of Online Advertising course material, this session explores novel ways to integrate the use of templates to define best practices for achieving greater alignment between Privacy and Business teams.

This course is designed to

  • Dive deeper into the regulatory evolution over the years;
  • Explore new companies/technologies that are pushing the boundaries of new data privacy regimes: Will AI Algorithms change the way we think of derivative uses of Digital Advertising;
  • Review frameworks for how to think about the future evolution of new data privacy regimes;
  • Identify the risks and challenges of connected devices (not just mobile phones) – how the new data flows across Data Clouds, Data Clean Rooms, and other Data Collaboration technologies.

Objectives:

  • Understand new data flows between companies before any personal data is activated in the AdTech ecosystem;
  • Develop familiarity with new and evolving AdTech business models, systems, and key terminology;
  • Utilize practical templates for use in your everyday work;
  • By the end of this course, participants will be able to analyze a case study through interactive group discussions, demonstrating a deeper understanding of the case’s key concepts and their application to real-world scenarios

After completing each training course, you will receive IAPP CPE credits and a digital badge from Credly that can be shared on your professional network as a mark of the skills you’ve acquired.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be honored, minus our vendor’s processing fee, up to 3 days prior to the session. For cancellations after that date, we will honor the registration for the next scheduled date of this session or an alternate FPF training class.
