U.S. Privacy Landscape
FPF is pleased to offer the training topic: U.S. Privacy Landscape to you and your team.
Commercial privacy in the United States is regulated through a maze of state and federal laws and regulations. There are sector-specific privacy laws at the state and federal levels, active federal enforcement bodies with broad mandates to protect consumer privacy across industries, and an emerging set of state-level comprehensive privacy laws. The U.S. Privacy Landscape course provides a broad view of this framework by providing overviews of its constituent elements. Practitioners can expect to come away with a foundational understanding of the various rules and obligations forming the U.S. Privacy Landscape.
