Please join the Future of Privacy Forum for the kickoff of its Immersive Tech Panel Series, examining the new privacy risks and policy questions that arise when immersive technologies are integrated into domains like health, advertising, transportation, AI, and education. 

With privacy legislation gaining momentum around the country, immersive technologies occupy a place of regulatory uncertainty. It’s not always clear how, or if, privacy laws would impact these technologies differently than other types of technology. But on a deeper level, there are also questions about the new privacy risks that arise when immersive technologies are integrated into domains like health, advertising, transportation/mobility, AI, and youth/education. As these technologies become part of the landscape, it is critical to understand their unique privacy issues, best practices organizations can adopt, and how regulatory proposals might address them.
