Overview

FPF’s Training Program provides an in-depth understanding of today’s most pressing privacy and data protection topics. FPF staff experts design the sessions for professionals who develop policies for their organizations, work with clients on complex privacy issues, or those interested in emerging privacy topics.

This session is designed to enhance understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementations. It is specifically tailored for privacy professionals engaged with the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) seeking to hone their organization’s risk management practices. Understanding how to safely secure and manage the data and privacy challenges AI brings is crucial to effective risk management. This session will combine theory with practical applications and real-world examples. It’s an opportunity for privacy professionals in any organization to fortify its risk management strategies.

Learning Objectives:

  • Gain a high-level overview of the NIST AI RMF, including purpose and key components as well as additional insights applying the RMF for AI implementations within their organization
  • Explore the various forms of AI and their implications for risk management.
  • Learn how organizations have successfully implemented AI while successfully managing security and privacy risks.

After completing each training course, you will receive IAPP CPE credits and a digital badge from Credly that can be shared on your professional network as a mark of the skills you’ve acquired.

Cancellations will be honored, minus our vendor’s processing fee, up to 3 days prior to the session. For cancellations after that date, we will honor the registration for the next scheduled date of this session or an alternate FPF training class.

Steven is an A.I. and data analytics expert with a Master’s from Harvard University and a B.A. from the University of New Mexico.
