FPF is pleased to offer a new training session, Unlock the Power of NIST RMF in AI: Practical Insights from Real-World Applications.
This session is designed to enhance understanding of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementations. It is specifically tailored for privacy professionals engaged with the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) seeking to hone their organization’s risk management practices. Understanding how to safely secure and manage the data and privacy challenges AI brings is crucial to effective risk management. This session will combine theory with practical applications and real-world examples. It’s an opportunity for privacy professionals in any organization to fortify its risk management strategies.
Learning Objectives
In This Training You Will:
- Gain a high-level overview of the NIST AI RMF, including purpose and key components as well as additional insights applying the RMF for AI implementations within their organization.
- Explore the various forms of AI and their implications for risk management.
- Learn how organizations have successfully implemented AI while successfully managing security and privacy risks.
Upon completing the training, participants will receive IAPP CPE Credits and a digital badge from our partner, Credly, recognizing your newfound knowledge and demonstrating your commitment to staying at the forefront of privacy developments.
MEET OUR TRAINING FACULTY
Robert Maguire is a successful serial entrepreneur, investor, and strategic leader specializing in artificial intelligence and digital transformation. He has founded, developed, and scaled multiple companies in Europe and the U.S., achieving his first successful exit at age 18. Robert holds several algorithmic patents and has created groundbreaking technologies, collaborating with organizations like NASA, PSG, and Ferrari, showcasing a variety of industries. He aims to make A.I. accessible globally. Robert holds an MSc in Marketing with Honors from Dublin Business School and is a recognized European artificial intelligence and innovation leader.
Nicholas is an experienced technology leader and entrepreneur with a career spanning four continents and leadership roles in global organizations such as Samsung Electronics, The World Economic Forum, Rackspace, and Accenture. He brings entrepreneurial insights from founding two FinTech companies. Proficient in four languages, Nicholas holds an MBA from IMD Business School in Switzerland and a B.A. from San Diego State University. He also graduated with distinction from the Business Analytics executive program at Harvard Business School. Nicholas’s expertise lies in strategy, data analytics, and technology.
As Chief Technology Officer, Gerard leverages extensive expertise in deploying Large-Language Models for a variety of use cases and focused on effective data management and systems security driving innovation and efficiency across multiple sectors. He holds an M.Sc in Computer Science, where he exceled in scaling full-scale migrations to AI/ML projects. He brings domain expertise in all areas of model training and deployment.
Former Associate Program Director at the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard, a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Warwick, and a Co-Founder of the United States Government’s Health and Human Services IDEA Lab, Steven brings his love for complexity, communications, and content to distilling big ideas into easy-to-use processes and solutions. Steven is an A.I. and data analytics expert with a Master’s from Harvard University and a B.A. from the University of New Mexico.
