Juliana Cotto served as a Policy Counsel for the Youth & Education Privacy Project at the Future of Privacy Forum. Prior to joining FPF, Juliana was a graduate intern at Consumer Reports where she worked on consumer protection issues in financial services and data collection practices of financial technologies and other products. Previous to pursuing a career in policy, Juliana was an elementary school teacher for three years during which she taught for both Chicago Public Schools and Saint Louis Public Schools through the Teach for America program.

Juliana is a 2020 graduate from Carnegie Mellon University Heinz College where she earned her Master of Science in Public Policy & Management. Juliana also holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Missouri Saint Louis. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University, where she majored in Behavioral Biology.
